Data Analysis for UX Researchers

Make sense of nuanced user data by applying social science methods to systematically organize data and track insights for colleagues or clients

Overview

In this intimate and interactive program, you’ll engage in step-by-step activities, training, and discussions to develop an analysis methodology that is transparent, rigorous, and collaborative. This series includes: two 3-hour workshops + 30-minute 1:1 session.

What You’ll Learn

At the end, you’ll have completed each step of the analysis process—initial memoing, codebook development, coding, and identification of recurring patterns—and will have a framework for how to develop evidence-based insights with your team

This workshop is for anyone who participates in design and research, and has ever had to pour over loads of user data and try to make sense of it all. Researchers, designers, UXers, service designers, quant folks, teams of one—whatever your role or situation, you’ll learn the basics of how to conduct evidence-based analysis.
